The Devil Coming is No Match for The Smallest Faith
The devil comes to steal,
kill, and destroy
. . . but for God
Steal your peace
destroy your innocence
steal your joy
kill your dreams
. . . but for God
steal your relationships
and your confidence
steal your health
or your means
. . . but for God
steal your marriage
destroy your children
Steal your laughter
even your warmth
. . . but for God
Steal Home
destroy your path
Steal your faith
and your salvation
. . . but for God
Satan can guide you down
into the darkest
pit,
unable on your own
to crawl
out
. . . but for God
for whom no place is too deep
no place so lost
no one so unloved
so crushed
so full of wrong-doing
that He cannot pull you out
redeem you
rebuild the broken places
bring you home

. . . I believe. . . Help
my unbelief. . .
the cry of one lost
possessing a shard
of belief
who would agree
to possessing more unbelief
than belief. . .
belief the size of a mustard seed
smaller than a lifetime
of injustice piled high
belief the size of a mustard seed
the smallest seed grown in the dirt
smaller than a lifetime
of rejection
abandonment
being unseen
belief the size of a mustard seed
that pushes through the dark mess
that started out smaller
than the all kinds
of wrong
experienced or committed
belief the size of a mustard seed
the smallest seed grown in the dirt
that pushes through the dark mess
to it’s God designed creation
Redeemed
by the smallest seed
of faith
Redeemed to God
who restores
to fill
with peace and joy
dreams, innocence, and provision
relationships and laughter
confidence, warmth
health, faith
belonging to a Forever
Family
Broken places Rebuilt
Becoming
Growing into
God’s Designed Creation. . .
. . . I believe. . . Help
my unbelief. . .
“For I am the least of the apostles and do not even deserve to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God. But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace to me was not without effect. No, I worked harder than all of them—yet not I, but the grace of God that was with me.” ~ 1 Corinthians 15: 9-10
“There but for the grace of God go I.” ~ John Bradford, 1510-1555
“Immediately the boy’s father cried out and began saying, “I do believe; help my unbelief.” ~ Mark 9:24
“He told them, “It was because of your lack of faith. I promise you, if you have faith inside of you no bigger than the size of a small mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move away from here and go over there,’ and you will see it move! There is nothing you couldn’t do!“ ~ Mark 17:20

Remember Me Monday: #34 & Linky
“I’ll make a list of God’s gracious dealings,
all the things God has done that need praising,
All the generous bounties of God,
his great goodness to the family of Israel—
Compassion lavished,
love extravagant.”
~ Isaiah 63:7, The Message
In the Old Testament, God repeatedly, quietly and loudly, tells his children, “You have forgotten me!” (Jeremiah 3:32, Ezekiel 22:12, to name a few). It’s a heart cry from a father to a child who has forgotten all the love, all the saving, helping, little and big blessings – and it leaves me stunned when I realize our Father, the creator of the universe, who knows things I cannot begin to fathom, who authors storylines that leave me amazed, delights in all of us so much, He cries out, “Remember Me.”
While every day is a Remember God Day, I am inviting you to join me on Monday mornings to come by and remember what God has done for you, for your family. Maybe God sent a cardinal darting out in front of you, as if to tell you, “I’m here,” or broke a child’s fever after you laid it all down at His feet in a 2 a.m. bedside vigil. Maybe He stood with you in the wait of a prayer sent out, or brought someone you loved to Christ. Maybe He healed your broken heart, gave your courage, or you gave Him your dreams as a love offering only to have Him give them back in an unimaginable way. Maybe God helped you survive to bedtime after a crazy Monday, or forgive yourself for missing it with your kiddos –– Whatever it is, let’s Remember Him. . . in a “Remember Me Monday” love letter.
“My mouth will tell of your righteousness,
Of your salvation all the day long,
Though I know not its measure.
I will come and proclaim your mighty acts, O Sovereign Lord”
~ Psalm 71:15-16.

What a beautiful poem! I am so thankful for a Heavenly Father who not only longs to grow our little seed of faith but is also willing and eager to restore that which the enemy has robbed and destroyed. He has restored much in my life – and made something beautiful out of my ashes!!
