Spinning Stories, Cranberry & White Chocolate Holiday Scones — 6 Comments

  1. Dear Maryleigh – Your gentle nudge to keep our eyes on Him even as we bake the scones (and the shortbread and stir the soup and putter here and there) is so well said and much needed. I hope this Christmas is truly a special one for you and your gang.

I’m grateful each time our paths cross. Bless you!

  2. Maryleigh, what a lovely poem indeed. This recipe sounds absolutely delectable. May His Love and Presence fill you to overflowing and bring you a most Joyous Christmas. Blessings. Visiting from # 5&6

  3. Your words weave a beautiful story this day. I want to fix my eyes on the One Who writes my story. He knows it well and I keep wanting to get in the way. A sweet nudge to move over and allow the Redeemer and Creator to continue to write my story.
I love your recipes and your photography. So professional. So yummy! Can you serve them across the screens?
Merry Christmas, Maryleigh. I pray yours is beautiful and sweet.

  4. Oh, the stories I make up to explain things around me. 🙁 I’ve been telling myself a sad story lately about a dear family member, and I’m basing it on nothing. I have to remind myself that I don’t have the facts and that my story is just a figment of my imagination until I know different. Thanks for the refocus this morning on Jesus!

May you and your family have a wonderful Christmas, Maryleigh!
