No Hiding in the Mists — 9 Comments

  1. Maryleigh, Good Morning. So beautiful are your words and images, my friend. Physically, I can picture these scenes on your mountain. Almost, without being there physically. And knowing that God knows all can be difficult at times usually due to my desire to hide from Him. But knowing that is also wonderful for I often need that confidence of God in my corner. He allows me to be me without shame. He allows me to feels in ways I do not in the sight of others. He allows all because He knows all. If something needs a shift or a change, He will be my guide. He is the Best!! I am so grateful to the God of all creation.

  2. Wonderful to be reminded that even our precipitation is measured out by a loving and sovereign God.
I missed you, so I was glad to discover this post. Sometimes the best gift we can give ourselves is mercy.

  3. This is so true, Maryleigh, “We might feel unseen. . . but we are not. We might wish to be unseen. . . but we are not.” I’m so thankful that He sees, He knows, He cares, and He loves.

  4. I love your reminder that we can’t escape God’s love for us. It is an ever-present thing. Your photos are beautiful ❤️ I’m so glad you’re feeling better!

  5. Maryleigh, your words are so very beautiful! I love lingering here with you. I needed these words today, because I so often hide from God, hide from His love, hide from His help….feeling so unworthy, yet He beckons me still. Thank you for this timely reminder!

  6. How amazing the creativity and design God put into each raindrop and snowflake, and so much else. And his love for us is beyond measure. What a beautiful reminder of that truth! Thank you for sharing.
