  1. I just love these questions and the beautiful journey they took you upon, and surely still are! I will ponder these this week and see what God has in store for me, Maryleigh. He is so amazing! I am filled with gratitude to be able to serve this magnificent God.

    • He knows where we’ll be, who we’ll meet with, the condition of our heart – and then in the midst of our coming and going, our seeking Him – He sends us a grace moment, a healing moment that draws us into one of His hugs that leaves no doubt of who we are to Him. I am learning to understand more of how we serve Him – just by loving His children – but, oh my, what an example He gives us!

  2. Oh, over time those backpacks grow heavier and heavier til we finally could break in two, Maryleigh. So much of the time we’re not conscious of adding to our own load.

But God is, and He continues to invite us to cast our cares upon Him. One by one by one. His yoke is easy, His burden is light.

Now … to live that out, especially in this season.

  3. Such a precious prayer exercise! I love the way that Jesus surprises us and walks right in to where we aren’t expecting Him. I will be pondering these questions, as He has already been leading me on a journey of a similar sort lately. Blessings to you! P.S. Somehow when I tried to crop my picture for the linky tool, it didn’t come out right–so sorry! I tried to delete it and start over, but I could not seem to find out how to do that.

  4. Maryleigh, this was so beautiful. Like you, I tend to think the blessings should go to someone else. That, for one reason or another, I don’t really truly deserve the good things Jesus wants to give. I love how Jesus loves each one of us perfectly, in the way we can receive His love. Your sharing here reminded me that we are always seen by God. and that He desires to bless us. Thanks for sharing those questions too.
