The Story of the Three Graces

Blue Cotton Memory

(I first posted this ten years ago. It seems even more meaningful today. Praying your faith, hope and charity are kindled brighter in your heart with the reading). When Hope Grace was born, great expectations were cast forth, hearts leaping in expectation. Much was expected of Hope. Her sister Faith Grace took to teaching her the facts of their Father … Continue reading →

Ben’s 30 today - 3 decades! One of the things I Ben’s 30 today - 3 decades! One of the things I love about him is how he hugs his boys and says, “I love you, buddy” to them. Maybe you had memories of your dad saying that to you growing up - and you think it’s not a big deal. I didn’t have that growing up. My dad wasn’t there, and when he was, he never said those words. Believe me - it’s a big deal. Ben had those words. His dad gave him those words and now, he’s giving them to his sons. I love this 30 year old! I love how he’s loving his sons - how how he gives them those important words. Happy Birthday, Ben! So glad God have you to us!
“. . . everyone who loves the Father loves his c “. . . everyone who loves the Father loves his children, too.” ~ 1 John 5:1b
. . . the easy to love, the hard to love; the lost, the found; the believers, the unbelievers; the ones doing life all right, the ones doing life all wrong and the ones doing life in-between; the happy drunk, the surly drunk; the ones who share their milk money and the ones who don’t; the ones who love unconditionally and the ones who love conditionally. God loves them all, loves them in a “faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen way”. . . He loves them all, us all like a good! Good Father loves his child, who would give his most precious possession, his riches, his identity, his life to save that child. Not because the child is pleasing. . . but because the child is his. . . And he doesn’t want a single one of His children lost. He never gives up. He never stops loving. He never stops pursuing. He wants us to love like that.
