A Forever Girl — 24 Comments

  1. Aww, so sweet and so special! Your granddaughter is blessed to have a grandmother who loves her “Forever man” as much as you do! I’m certain this will inspire her to be that “Forever girl” for her one day husband as well. Love the photos too! This is great and I’m so glad you linked it up with Wedded Wed, my friend!

  2. So much here to make for a wonderful marriage. With all the wrong information out there, this is a great place for women to look for truth about how to have a God-centered marriage and to trust God to provide a husband. Happy 30th Anniversary. My best friend’s 30th wedding anniversary is also today. Linking with Wedded Wednesday.

  3. Beautiful!! Awww…Happy “30th” Anniversary to you and your “Forever Boy”!! Wishing you many more years of marital bliss! So true, we should never let the world diminish our relationship potential! Thanks for sharing your lovely letter…and thanks for linking up today!

  4. Wonderful post and many congrats coming your way! The letter touches my heart, as it if filled with love, guidance and His Word. Cynthia

  5. So many great truths…not only things I hope for my baby girl to someday know but also that I must remind myself. Us married woman can show the world what redemptive marriage looks like–a picture of Christ’s redemptive and whole love. What a privilege and high calling! Thank you for sharing this beautiful post! 🙂

  6. Congratulations on your anniversary! I love your letter to your grand baby. What a treasure for when she is older. We, too, hit 30 years this year, and are newly minted grandparents as of two weeks ago. I have been mulling over what to write to her for a welcome letter and you have given me so much wonderful food for thought. Thanks!

  12. Wow… sweet ML, I realize I read this when you first posted it, but for the life of me, I cannot recall ever doing so. As I read your words, I thought I was reading it for the first time! Beautiful… so beautiful! And I must say it again, the photos you posted of you and your husband are all so lovely. And now, I have a granddaughter… I would like to share this on my FB for her, my one and only granddaughter, as well as for my still unmarried daughter. Thanks! Much love, Lidia

  15. Maryleigh, I always love this letter you post once a year. It has so much wisdom and tenderness to apply each day in our marriages. Yes, we are blessed to have forever men in our lives. I must remember to apply the Forever Woman principle with love each day.
    Happy Anniversary to you two!
