  1. What a beautiful couple! Congratulations on so many years of happiness! Thanks for the tips for the beach! 🙂 I really appreciate them! I haven’t visited in a while! I apologize! 🙂 I need to go back and read all of your awesome and inspiring posts!

  2. Praise God and Happy Anniversary!

My husband and I are newbies — celebrating five years tomorrow, but what a gift he is. We had to wait a while for God to put us together, but perhaps because of that wait, I am even more grateful for him.

I hope you have a wonderful day!

    Blessings ~

  3. I love how you say that with confidence too. Those of us committed for life should just say it with supreme confidence, “Marriage rocks.” (or something like that)

    Blessings, and Happy Anniversary

  4. Ohhhhh! What a LOVELY tribute. I echo all of your sentiments, including the ACODP status. God’s word in our lives has made all the difference. Bless you and your knight in shining armor!

  5. That was a very sweet post. Happy Anniversary. We have been married 23 1/2 years and I feel the same way about my husband. However, I think he has the best legs.

  6. What a beautiful post! Thanks for stopping by my blog and leaving a comment to let me know that you were there. I appreciate it very much. It was great to meet you.
    You have 5 boys? Wow!
    Have a great weekend!

  7. Love this post! I asked our wives at PWC a couple months ago to write the things they are thankful for in their Husbands. The volume of responses were amazing.

When we start thinking about “Why” we love our husbands it fosters love in our hearts for them. Staying positive in what we say about them out loud is important as well. I have learned the scripture “Life and Death is in the power of the tongue” to be so incredibly true!

Thank you for posting this. 🙂

  8. Thanks for stopping by my blog! Happy Anniversary! I’ve got one boy with another on the way. Congrats on so many wonderful years together, and here’s to many, many more!

  9. What a beautiful anniversary post.

When God stands with you, you don’t become a statistic! I agree!

God is with you all the way.

Your list of ten could also very well apply to what I love in my own husband.

We celebrated our 30th year in Chiang Mai Thailand. Not knowing it would be our last.

    Make every year count.

    I love your love story.

    Love

  10. Happy anniversary! Thank God for enabling us to be family pattern breakers!
I totally hear you on that checkout magazine thing. The girls in Barlowgirl actually turn them around when they see them. Maybe I should start doing this.

  11. Happy Sits Saturday Sharefest! It is so awesome to meet another Sister in Christ! Praise God for the wonderful anniversary. Isn’t is wonderful to prove that God trumps any statistic! Hallelujah!

Thank you for sharing and Happy Anniversary!

  17. I remember those younguns! What an adorable couple you all have ALWAYS been! I knew you guys were meant for each other from the day I met your now hubby. You have such a lovely, healthy attitude about your relationship that it’s not at all surprising that you are still very happily married.
Yes, you and your brother did “beat the odds” so to speak. Kuddos to you and may you remain in love forever…..
